| Mental Training (I)1. Thought Control: discipline of thoughts, & subordination of thoughts ~ Take a seat in a comfortable chair or lie down on a settee. Relax the whole body, close your eyes and observe the train of your thoughts for five minutes, trying to retain it. At first, you will find that there are rushing up to you thoughts concerning everyday affairs, professional worries, and the like. Take the behavior of a silent observer toward these trains of thoughts, freely and independently. According to the mentality and the mental situation you happen to be in at the moment, this exercise will be more or less easy for you. The main point is not to forget yourself, not to lose the train of thoughts, but to pursue it attentively. Beware of falling asleep while doing this exercise. If you begin to feel tired, stop instantly and postpone the exercise to another time, when you intend not to give in to tiredness. The Indians sprinkle cold water on their faces or rub down the face and upper part of their bodies to remain brisk and not waste precious time. Some deep breathing before you begin will also prevent tiredness and sleepiness. As time goes on, each disciple will find out such little tricks by himself. This exercise of controlling thoughts has to be undertaken in the morning and at night. It is to be extended each day by one minute to allow the train of thoughts to be pursued and controlled without the slightest digression for a time of 10 mi nutes at least after a week’s training. MeditationClose your eyes sit down in any way you want, be it with your crossed feet, sitting in a chair, as long as your sitting and your back is straight. Sit and just focus on breathing as slow as comfortable and try to do that for 10 minutes without music or any distractions. Basic Energy control
This is the very basic part of psionics and is a key to developing yourself. These exercises need to be done every day at least for at least 10 minutes, and multiple times in a day if possible. To begin getting the feel for moving energy around in yourself, move you finger in a circular motion, rubbing the top of your opposite hand. Remember this feeling. Now, stop rubbing it and try to recreate that feel with your mind. Practice doing this on both hands. Really get the feel for it and with practice you'll physically be able to feel it. It may feel like a pressure or a tingling. Don't be discouraged if you can't get it for the first while, it'll come in time. If you need something a bit stronger than rubbing, try lightly scratching the area. Develop this ability to such a degree that you can recreate this feeling anywhere on your body with ease. This will take some practice and one reason you may not feel anything or "get stuck" is because you will more than likely have some energy blockages in your system. If you keep at practicing, these blockages will clear up. When you're recreating this feel, you are moving your energy through your body. Run your energy all throughout your body thoroughly every day for 10 minutes once or twice a day. This is kind of like taking a shower. I find this exercises refreshing. Good luck. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. -Gravius

| When controlling train of thoughts does the thoughts have to be about the same topic? just wondering if there is a limiter on that? |

You could, but when I practice this I train my thoughts on one word, or shape. But practice doing that then narrowing it down as you develop. |

| you can start out by thinking about one thing, and move on to think about nothing, it is possible to think about nothing, the main thing is about relexing. i've also found out that when thinking about one thing (lets say a pencil) you dont actually have to repeat the word "pencil... pencil.. pencil.." in your mind the whole time, just know that your concentrating on it and that should do it. be aware of your thoughts, if any unrelated thought comes along just move it aside. |

| What are you supposed to see when you close your eyes? I focus on breathing, and I just see black, with shades of gray. |

Its not exactly "Seeing" just like focusing and being aware of the thoughts passing through your head. Some might see things, but most wont. |

| seeing is something else, this exercise her focuses on thought control and let me point out that is the most fundamental and necessary skill there is, there is no skipping this one, it might look very easy or even stupid at first but when you get into it youll see that there is more to it, also every exercise you do in energy will be batter when you use your focus, meaning every time you will perform an exercise in energy you will also be using this one! this exercise can also help in everyday life and any interactions with the physical world.

| people do get to see glimpses of things and sometimes more, but within their minds not with their eyes, seeing with our "eyes" energy (cause its really our third eye we just think its with our eyes cause our physical eyes are open at that time) is something else. |

| Yes, people do actually see things but when they first start off. That is what I am mostly saying, is either beginning or improving feeling is the best thing to do and then seeing comes after. _________________ The Darkness is our mistress, its call is that of a siren calls to the weak, the strong, the forgotten and forsaken, breaks the chains of confinement shows humanity our darker side. The Light is our guardian, shows us the way when we're lost in the sea of never ending loathing, sorrow, anger and hatred, dries our tears with its radiance, its beauty is never forgotten always there showing brilliance when needed and exposing the lies, showing us a deeper meaning of life itself.
